Reflection

This shot was taken on Dartmoor near Okehampton whilst on holiday and the intention was to capture the beautiful reflection created in the quarry. The branch to the bottom right was left in the shot to show which way was up!

Technique:

Camera: Olympus OM4ti

Lens: Zuiko Olympus 28-48mm F4

Aperture: F16

Film: Fuji Velvia 50 positive

Pete

I have been shooting nature with Olympus digital & Olympus OM camera gear on film since 2004

  • Very nice shot Pete.

But are you sure the branch was for that purpose. 😀

    • Thanks Chris.

The only way to keep the branch out of the shot would have been to move the camera and tripod forwards, and the one major pitfall (pardon the pun) was that would have meant stepping into the water in the quarry which looked very deep! Made the decision to take the shot without sinking and use the branch for reference.

I do not like to crop images
