Sloe Bug, Dolycoris baccarum

This photo of a shield bug, search results reveal it to be a Sloe Bug (Dolycoris baccarum) was taken at Stoborough Heath in Dorset walking across a dandelion. Stoborough Heath is another place I like to go to for macro shots as it has what I call a great bug alley, and you can find many a critter lining the side of the path.

I used my Zuiko Olympus OM 80mm F4 macro lens, with the Olympus OM T32 wide angle filters on the Olympus OM T28 twin flash heads. The wide angle filters were added as they act as diffusers, and are fitted over the front of the flash heads.
