Stanpit Marsh Nature Reserve
Visited Stanpit Marsh nature reserve several times over the course of the winter season, and this is a selection of the birds found there during that time all taken on the Olympus E620 & Olympus 70-300mm F4 digital lens.

Next a Pied Wagtail (Motacilla alba) on the march at f5.6, ISO 800, 1/250.

Lapwings (Vanellus vanellus)are also common visitors to this spot. F8, 1/250, ISO 400, exposure compensation -0.7.

I also managed to snap this Black-tailed Godwit (Limosa limosa). F8, 1/80, ISO 400, exposure compensation -0.7

and finally a sunset shot across the marshes looking towards Christchurch. F8, 1/250, ISO 800.
