The Zuiko Olympus 8mm F2.8 fisheye lens
I recently spotted and managed to buy the Zuiko Olympus 8mm F2.8 fisheye lens, which has been on my wish list for a very long time. No surprise that this was then in my bag on the next outing at Kilwood to have a play. I got lucky with the weather considering what it has been like recently. All shot on a roll of Kodak Elitechrome ED3 200 slide film.
It certainly provides a different perspective on things which I hope is evident on this set of shots. The really cool thing is how it bends the perspective of objects that are to the sides of the lens, and certainly brings out the creative side when out and about.
1st image is of some flowers, for which I laid flat on the ground angling upwards. A very useful piece of advice, that I read prior to shooting, was to always check the viewfinder for unwanted objects such as feet, hands or camera strap due to the fact that the lens has a 180 degree field of view.

Next is a shot taken on a path through the woodland, which shows the bending of lines on the sides.

and then a couple of shots angling the lens to look up through the trees, at slightly different angles.
