Scotland – Torridon to Inveralligin walk

This is my first of a set of posts from a trip to the Torridon region in Scotland this September. These landscape images were taken on a walk from Torridon Estate to Inveralligin and back, using the E620 digital camera and a new lens to my collection, the Zuiko Olympus 50-250mm F5 a OM range lens. I purchased this from Ffordes just outside of Inverness, an outlet I have always wanted to visit in person having purchased several second items on line from them. Its an aladins cave and if you are ever in the vicinity I would recommend a visit.

This walk on 1 side of Loch Torridon gives a great view of the impressive mountains in the region. All of these were taken at F11 and I hope I have named the mountains correctly.

I spotted this small rock and composed the image so that it was in the foreground to Maol Chean Dearg. I have titled it David vs Goliath
