Titchfield Haven revisited
I revisited Titchfield Haven on Sunday of last weekend, which turned out to be a good decision as there were a lot more birds roosting at this sanctuary and that were very close to 1 of the bird hides in particular, the Meon bird hide. Here I was fortunate to see, not just one, but several snipes (Gallinago gallinago), 5 to the right of the hide, and a group of Black-tailed Godwits (Limosa limosa) whose plumage was starting to change.

On this occassion I also walked over to the other side of the sanctuary, located behind the visiting centre, and came across a Green Woodpecker (Picus viridis) at the end hide.
