Another visit to Titchfield Haven
Another visit to Titchfield Haven last weekend turned out to be a good choice, with the majority of birds seen on the Meon hide side of the reserve, loads of gulls, Black-tailed Godwits, Moorhens, a snipe & pair of avocets. Unfortunately missed the reported Spoonbills who were on the other side, by about 5 min.
All images taken with the Sigma 50-500 lens at F9.
Spotted this Black-headed Gull (Larus ridibundus) screaming to keep other Gulls off his post.
This is a Redshank (Tringa totanus) who is just about to land.
