Garston Wood Fisheye Photo’s
I attempted something different this time round on the annual visit to Garston Wood to see the bluebells. I used my Olympus 8mm F2.8 fisheye lens to gain a different perspective, all taken at F5.6 with Fuji Velvia 50 slide film.
This is the best bluebell shot.
I also tried to get below and very close to the bluebells and attempted to angle the view to get the bluebells to deflect the sun rays. I forgot to bring the tripod adapter and so had to shoot hand held. This is not recommended with Fuji Velvia 50 slide film plus whilst lying down at an awkward angle. Therefore the results did not turn out as intended.
I found for most I had got too close to the bluebell, an implanted out of the focus bluebell on the actual lens. For the one semi decent shot I did not successfully hide the whole of the sun. Will have to try again.
The better result of deflecting the sun was when shooting through tree leaves.
The last 2 shots are of the woodland
The last is my personal favourite
