Stanpit Marsh
Last weekend saw a visit to Stanpit Marsh for a change, and at the start of the walk came across some Brent Geese (Branta leucopsis)

At the start it was also a clear day as this shot of the moon shows

Towards the end of a pleasant walk came across a pair of Stonechats (Saxicola torquata).

I can safely report that the winter birds are still yet to arrive in any numbers here.
