Blashford Lakes nature reserve

Went to Blashford Lakes nature reserve on a blustery wet winter day. The only decent photo’s from the day were of a Pied Wagtail (Motacilla alba) and a Siskin (Carduelis spinus).

The weirdest thing though of the day was of some Coots, who seemed to be dancing. I did also manage to capture a glimpse of the starling murmuration. Both captured on this short video, the starling murmuration being very short. If you want to see a far better video of this then click on this link to my brothers video.

I have been shooting nature with Olympus digital & Olympus OM camera gear on film since 2004
