Another trip to Blashford lakes nature reserve
As the weather forecast was sunny with heavy downpours at times, made the decision to go to Blashford Lakes nature reserve, as there is the chance to dive into a hide if your close when a downpour occurs. First visited the Tern Hide that looks out over Ibsley Water and spotted this Ringed Plover (Charadrius hiaticula) just in front of some wildfowl.

Next destination was the Ivy South Hide, which is across the road, Ellingham Drove, that divides the reserve. Came across this Wren (Troglodytes troglodytes) along the path just past the Woodland Hide. Although there is an annoying twig in the foreground decided to keep this shot as it is my first decent sharp image of a Wren.

On arrival at the Ivy South Hide found this Tufted Duck (Aythya fuligula) close outside and caught this pose, which kind of amused me, looking like a conductor.

Further on the walk saw a flock of average sized birds flitting through the woodland which turned out to be Redwings (Turdus iliacus).

Final picture of the day is of an Egyptian Goose (Alopochen aegyptiacus) that was taking an interest in the Osprey nesting platform outside the Lapwing Hide. The Lapwing Hide is on the same side of the road as the Tern Hide.
