Ramsdown nature reserve
Updated 26 June 14
Yesterday had the afternoon off work and went to Ramsdown nature reserve in the search for more damsels and dragonflies with the weather being sunny and very warm. Found damsels and dragons plus butterflies and daytime flying moths, and this is a selection of the best shots from the afternoon.
First up the butterflies and daytime moth.

Now the damsels, of which 2 I am undecided as to ID.
This first is one is an Emerald Damselfly (Lestes sponsa)

However, I am uncertain if these 2 are Scarce Emeralds or more Emeralds.
UPDATE: Confirmed that these are Emerald Damselflies on the UK Dragonfly forum

Lastly the dragonflies, and I believe both found on the day are Black Darters (Sympetrum danae).
