An assortment of close ups
This is an accumulation of different close up subjects, taken over the last few weeks from several different locations, that have not fitted into any of the themes of my recent posts. The first 3 shots were taken at Dunyeats Hill nature reserve
A Pond Snail.
A Wasp Spider (Argiope bruennichi)
Here with a recent victim
The next 4 are from Canford Magna.
3 different coloured Balsam flower, an invasive weed typically found beside rivers. The Olympus OM-D EM-5 in camera stabilisation proved very usefulness as these were taken hand held to get most of the flower front to back in focus.
A Speckled bush cricket (Leptophyes punctatissima)
A Garden Spider (Araneus diadematus)
The final image of a pair of Garden spiders was taken at Thursley Common.
