Slimbridge Wetland Centre
I recently visited Slimbridge Wetland Centre for the first time, a Wildlife & Wetlands Trust site. This centre has easy to access walkways & hides that give you close-up views of of their captive wildlife, both local and exotic species, plus it has several bird hides that allow you to view the local wildlife in the surrounding area outside of the reserve.
The centre also has a large car park and a decent range of amenities including a restaurant. Here is a link to their website home page for more information.
This is a selection of the wildlife seen on my visit.
