Macro at Canford Magna
The field test of the Olympus FS-STF22 Twin flash unit continued yesterday at Canford Magna. This time I also used an alternative form of diffusion, packing foam in place of vellum paper.
Initially I began shooting the flash in manual mode with an ISO 100, though switched to ISO 400 and auto TTL mode towards the end of the day.
These are with manual and ISO 100

Here are the photo’s at ISO 400 with Auto TTL including a very cooperative solitary bee who stayed on the dandelion for quite some time allowing the chance to also try out stacking hand held.

Here is my attempted stacked photo, comprising of 3 individual images stacked together using Photoshop. I was surprised how well Photoshop aligned the 3 images together. A reasonable result I think for my first hand held attempt of the year, though the bee failed to keep its antennae still causing blur in a couple of spots.

Thanks Chris. I am very pleased with the results so far in using this new flash gear
