All creatures small

Blashford Lakes nature reserve is proving to be an excellent location this year for a diverse range of all creatures small, and this selection of macro photo’s are from the weekend just gone.

The 1st theme of this post is all things green, starting with this very green Sawfly (Rhogogaster viridis)

A couple of different Green-eyed flies, the 1st being a Marsh Snipefly (Rhagio lineola) with the 2nd to be ID.

The next theme is all things yellow and black, aptly represented at the start by this Black-and-yellow Longhorn Beetle (Rutpela maculata)
