Macro mixture
Here is mixture of macro photo’s from two locations, starting with a couple from Sopley Common and then the remainder from Blashford Lakes nature reserve.
The first, is my first Heath Tiger Beetle (Cicindela sylvatica), a member of the Ground Beetle (Carabidae) family.

The last one from Sopley Common is a Small Blue butterfly (Cupido minimus).

Now on to the ones from Blashford Lakes nature reserve.
A Male Southern Hawker dragonfly (Aeshna cyanea).

It hanged around long enough for a 3 image head shot stack at F2.8.

Next is this Male Common Blue Damselfly (Enallagma cyathigerum) enjoying a snack.
