Malvern Hills
I visited the Malvern Hills for the very first time last Sunday. The Malvern hills stradled the counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and northern Gloucestershire, and provide excellent views across the surrounding countryside. Our walk began at the Blackhill car park following the easy trail for a short distance before traversing the rolling hills sandwiched between the Herefordshire Beacon (British Camp) at 338m in height and Worcestershire Beacon at 425m.
Although the weather on the day wasn’t ideal, extremely strong winds and lots of grey cloud, there were moments where the sun burst through the clouds creating the occasional dramatic view, shafts of sunlight along with splashed pools of light over the countryside.
The first panorama is looking back towards Blackhill car park with the shafts of sunlight illuminting the back of Herefordshire Beacon (British Camp) hill.

I lifted the shadows to this next panorama to make it easier to view the Herefordshire Beacon (British Camp) hill.

and here I zoomed in to capture the shafts of sunlight in more detail.

Next a couple of shots capturing the pools of light hitting the surrounding countryside.
