A walk around Blea Tarn and Lingmoor Fell
Blea Tarn is at the centre of the wild Lakeland fells sitting beside the Little Langdale to Great Langdale road.
Our walk began by following the easy path that skirts around the Tarn, the path is one of the miles without stiles paths. At the top end of the path you will be greeted with this view of a valley.
We then took the route up to the top of Side Pike, which offers you great 360 views.

and this the view towards the Langdale Pikes
and this is the view looking back towards the valley.
From there we climbed higher and towards Lingmoor Fell, the path is easy to follow as it runs along a stone wall all the way to a stile.

Once across the stile you have a steep climb up to Lingmoor Fell, though the effort is well worth it as it provides fantastic views of the surrounding wild Lakelands and Lake Windermere in the distance.
Here is a panorama
The walk follows a fence all the way to a stile and the path back down to Blea Tarn.
The said stile and the sight of Lake Windermere.
