A feast fit for flies

I came across these Blowfly bluebottles (Calliphora vicina) having a gorge fest along one of the paths at Blashford Lakes nature reserve yesterday.

 

I am not sure what type of insect was the special of the day as it was badly decayed as shown in the next few shots.

I used a saturated Topaz Detail 3 preset on this one.

This next one is just detail adjustment, no saturation boost.
