Bugs, insects and a spider
This is the 2nd post in the series of June macro and close-up photo’s from Blashford Lakes nature reserve, and as you may well have guessed covers a variety of the other small creatures you may happen across at the reserve.

Common Froghoppers (Philaenus spumarius)
The Common Nettle-tap (Anthophila fabriciana) micro moth.
Figwort Weevil (Cionus hortulanus)
Green plant bug
Grypocoris stysi plant bug
These tiny Potato Leafhoppers (Eupteryx aurata)
Red Ant (Myrmica) biting and then carrying a dead aphid.
This pretty Vapourer moth caterpillar (Orgyia antiqua).
and a Zebra Jumping Spider (Salticus scenicus) with prey.
