Butterflies and a Pair of Damsels

As the title suggests this post is all about the Butterflies and a pair of damselflies found at Blashford Lakes nature reserve last Sunday.

To begin with my 1st sighting at this reserve of the Silver-washed Fritillary butterfly (Argynnis paphia).

I also managed to photograph the Red Admiral butterfly (Vanessa atalanta), side on and birds eye.

The damsels were a pair of mating Common Blue damselflies (Enallagma cyathigerum), which I managed to bracket and process a 5 image stack of.

For record purposes the other butterflies spotted on the day were Gatekeepers and Ringlets.
