Snack time!

This sequence of shots of a Yellow dungfly (Scathophaga stercoraria) feasting on a smaller fly was taken along the river bank by Whitemill in Dorset.

It was so occupied with sucking out the juices of its unfortunate victim that I was able to get even more close-up shots.
