Coire an Laoigh, Beinn Alligin & Loch Torridon
These 4 landscape shots are again from my holiday in Scotland this year. The first couple are the view of Coire an Laoigh from a walk which approaches the foot of Beinn Eighe in Torridon. The second set of two are from a walk at the base of Beinn Alligin and which wound along part of Loch Torridon.
On both days the weather was, how should I put it, not the best. The walk to the foot of Beinn Eighe was in heavy rain, luckily though the rain did stop on the way back down. Both photo’s using the Zuiko Olympus OM 24mm F2 lens at a aperture of F11 with a circular polariser filter.
In the first one the Loch you can see is Loch Bharranch.

The second panned to the left captured Loch Clair in the shot. The bracketed exposure compensation of -1/3 gave me the best result.
On the second set, the walk as previously mentioned wound alongside Loch Torridon to a small village Inveralligin, with good views of Beinn Alligin behind. This day was gale force conditions, with heavy downpours and occasional (quick) bright intervals. The first shot was taken on the walk to the village, again with the Zuiko Olympus OM 24mm F2 lens at F11.
This last shot was on the way back, and I managed to capture the dark storm clouds before the heavens opened up. This was with the Zuiko Olympus OM 35-80mm F2.8 zoom lens, at 50mm, F16, and -1/3 exposure compensation.
