Snowdrops
Took the annual visit to Garston Wood to shoot snowdrops, this time round for most of the shots combining a film lens, Zuiko Olympus 90mm F2 macro lens, with the E620 digital camera body. I used very shallow depth of fields on the macro lens to intentionally blur the background or select a particular element of the snowdrop to stand out. I also with a few shot through over snowdrop flowers to achieve a more ghostly look & feel. These are the best of the day.
On the tip, Olympus 90mm F2 macro lens at F2.
Peeking out, Olympus 90mm F2 macro lens at F4
Single Snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis), Olympus 90mm F2 macro lens at F2.8
3 in a row, Olympus 90mm F2 macro lens at F2
Fog effect, Olympus 90mm F2 macro lens at F2
Also thought this might work in Black & White. Fog effect B&W Olympus 90mm F2 macro lens at F2
and finally a bunch of snowdrops this time with the Sigma 50-500mm F4-6.3 APO DG at F8.
