The Damselfly personality competition!
Here is another mega photo post, this time of damselflies up close and personal. Once again these are from Blashford Lakes nature reserve over the course of the last few weeks using the Olympus 80mm F4 macro lens + 25mm extension and my latest flash diffusion set up.
These smallish creatures do seem to have their own individual personalities, and these are this months contenders.

I titled this ‘The Dam biker scout’ as it reminded me of the Star Wars Return of Jedi stormtrooper biker scouts (you will know what I am talking about if you are old enough and have watched the original Star Wars films).
Mr Green (although perhaps should really re-title as since posting to 500px found out this maybe a female red eyed damselfly)
